Steal An Egg Calculator

Pet income per second, minute and hour for Roblox Steal An Egg. Pick a pet, type the weight shown above it, choose mutations, and read the result. 176 of the 199 pets were matched against the in-game Pet Index on 2026-10-09.

Income calculator

Grouped by biome, then Limited eggs, then wiki-only pets. Each pet shows its rarity and data label.

Chicken Common Verified in-game World · Forest · base income $1/s · base weight 8 kg

Shown on the label above the pet in your base. Base weight 8 kg.

How many of this exact pet, all with the same weight and mutations.

Variant (pick one)

Silver, Golden and Rainbow never combine with each other. Golden ×2.5 was confirmed on a 61 kg Golden Chicken showing $9/s.

Other mutations (pick any)

Multipliers from the Fandom wiki. How two or more multipliers combine has not been verified, so the result shows both readings when you pick several.

399 Robux in the in-game shop on 2026-10-09. No other boosts are offered because no reliable source gives their numbers.

Result

Per second$1
Per minute$60
Per hour$3,600

In-game display: $1/s (paid in whole dollars per second; big numbers keep one decimal and are cut, not rounded)

1 × 1 (8 kg ÷ 8 kg)^(37/60) × 1 (no mutation) × 1 = $1/s

How to use the calculator

  1. Pick a pet. Start typing a name in the search box. Pets are grouped by biome in the order you unlock them, then by Limited egg, and finally the pets that only exist on the wiki. Each entry shows the rarity and a data label.
  2. Enter the weight. In your base, walk up to the pet. The label floating above it shows the rarity, the mutation and name, the income and the weight in kg. The pet panel does not show weight. If you leave the field at the base weight, the size bonus is ×1.
  3. Choose mutations. Silver, Golden and Rainbow are variants and only one can apply. Bloom, Spirit Bloom, Fractured, Scrambled and Parasite can be added on top.
  4. Set the quantity if you own several identical pets, and tick x2 Money if you bought the gamepass.
  5. Read the result. The three tiles show the formula value per second, minute and hour. The "in-game display" line shows what the label above the pet should say.

Some pets have the weight field disabled. That happens when the wiki has no base weight for them, or when the listed weight looks like a placeholder (1234 kg for five event pets, 35 kg for all twelve Monster Egg pets). For those pets the calculator uses the base income with mutations only.

How income is calculated

Every pet in Steal An Egg earns a fixed amount of cash per second. The calculator uses this formula:

Income per second = Base income × Size multiplier × Mutation multiplier × Quantity × (2 if x2 Money)

Base income

Base income is what a normal-sized pet with no mutation earns. The Pet Index pays a claim reward equal to 100 × base income, which is how 176 of the pets on this site were checked against the game. Chicken earns $1/s and its reward is $100. Kitsune earns $1.8B/s and its reward is $180B.

Size multiplier (weight)

Size and colour mutation are rolled separately when an egg hatches. Weight is the size stat. The Fandom wiki gives this size formula, and two independent sets of readings agree with it:

ratio = weight ÷ base weight
ratio ≤ 125: size multiplier = ratio ^ (37/60)
ratio > 125: size multiplier = ratio ^ (2/5) × 125 ^ (13/60)

The second line is the diminishing-returns branch for pets heavier than 125 × base weight. The two branches meet exactly at 125×, so there is no jump. Rough reference points: 100× weight is about 17× income, 200× is about 23×, and 1000× is about 45×.

Base weights come from the wiki calculator data. Only Chicken's 8 kg has been confirmed in-game, so the size part of every other pet's result inherits the wiki's accuracy.

Worked example: Golden Chicken, 61 kg

On 2026-10-09 a fresh account had one Golden Chicken in its base. The label read Common, $9/s, 61 kg. No rebirth, no gamepass, no boost.

ratio      = 61 ÷ 8 = 7.625           (below 125, so use the first branch)
size mult = 7.625 ^ (37/60) = 3.4998
income     = $1 × 3.4998 × 2.5 (Golden) = $8.75/s
displayed  = $9/s   ✓ matches the label

With the ×2 Golden multiplier that beebom and games.gg publish, the result would be $7.00/s and the label would say $7. It said $9, so ×2.5 is the value this site uses. The cash counter confirmed it: over two timed windows of about 18 and 12 minutes the balance rose by exactly $9.00 per second, not $8.75.

Whole dollars and truncated display

That last detail matters. The game appears to pay income in whole dollars per second. $8.75 became $9.00 in the actual balance. We only have this one sample, so the calculator shows both the exact formula value and the whole-dollar figure. Large numbers are abbreviated with K, M and B, keep one decimal, and are cut rather than rounded: $1.75B shows as $1.7B and $1.85M shows as $1.8M. This was observed on three Pet Index cells.

Stacking several mutations

The wiki formula says "× Mutation(s) Multiplier" and stops there. One competitor site claims multipliers add together (Golden + Rainbow = ×5), but nobody has shown an in-game reading with two mutations. When you pick two or more, the calculator shows both the multiplied total and the added total and marks them "stacking not verified yet". A single mutation is unaffected.

FAQ

Where do I see my pet's weight?

Walk up to the pet in your base. The floating label shows the rarity, the mutation and name, the income and the weight, for example "Common, Golden Chicken, $9/s, 61Kg". The pet panel (paw button) lists pets but not weight. Weight is shown as a whole number.

How do I estimate the income of a pet I have not unlocked?

Open the Pet Index and look at the cash reward on the locked cell. Divide it by 100. A cell that pays $3.5K gives a $35/s pet, and a cell that pays $200B gives a $2B/s pet. This rule held for 176 out of 176 matched cells, so it is the best shortcut in the game. The speed part of the reward is separate and does not follow a formula we know.

Is Golden ×2.5 or ×2?

×2.5. A 61 kg Golden Chicken shows $9/s, which only works with ×2.5 (8.75 rounded). With ×2 it would show $7/s. The cash balance also rose by $9.00 per second. Sources that list ×2 for Golden also list different numbers for Silver, Rainbow, Bloom and Spirit Bloom, and we treat that whole set as unreliable.

Why does the calculator say $8.75 but the game says $9?

The game pays whole dollars each second. In the one case we timed, $8.75 was paid as $9.00. We do not know whether the game rounds to nearest or always rounds up, so the calculator shows both numbers and labels the whole-dollar one as the in-game display.

Do two mutations add or multiply?

Unknown. No source has an in-game reading with two mutations at once. The calculator shows both results when you select more than one. If you find a pet with two mutations, note its weight and income from the label and compare it with both results.

Does the x2 Money gamepass double the number shown here?

The shop lists it as "Get x2 Money!" for 399 Robux, and the wiki says the same, so the calculator applies ×2 to the final income. We have not bought it, so the exact interaction with whole-dollar rounding is not tested.

Why is a pet missing from the list?

Seven Enchanted Forest pets (Prism Gecko, Petal Beetle, Enchanted Bluejay, Astral Jackalope, Spirit Panda, Starry Fox, Royal Skywhale) have names on the wiki but no income, so they are left out until someone unlocks them. Pets that are only on the wiki, such as the event dragons and the Secret Shrine fusions Equinox and Aetheron, are included in a separate "not in the Pet Index" group and marked Unverified.

Does egg size or colour change the income?

According to the wiki, egg colour is cosmetic. A bigger egg gives a bigger pet, which means more income, but it is heavier and slows you down while you carry it. No source gives numbers for egg size, so the calculator works from the hatched pet's weight instead.

What the data labels mean

Labels follow a strict priority: Estimated first, then Unverified, then Verified in-game. Anything still marked "to be confirmed" in our notes can never be shown as verified.

Data sources and last updated

Last updated: 2026-10-10. In-game readings were taken on 2026-10-09 on a fresh account: every Pet Index cell (184 cells across the World and Limited tabs), the shop prices, the base upgrade signs and one Golden Chicken. Base incomes, base weights and mutation multipliers come from the Steal An Egg Wiki on Fandom (CC BY-SA), mainly the Income Calculator data module edited on 2026-09-30. The size formula was cross-checked against three Pure Jellyfish readings published by GameRant, all within $0.1M of the formula.

Where sources disagree, the order is: in-game reading, then Roblox's game page (which has no numbers), then the Fandom wiki, then dated third-party guides. Numbers that exist on only one unreliable site, such as rebirth costs, server multipliers and fusion formulas, are not used anywhere on this site. The full list is on the about page.
