Steal An Egg Speed Calculator
Find out how much speed you still need for a biome, and how long the treadmill will take if you tell us your own speed gain per second. Thresholds come from the Fandom Biomes page; the game does not show them in a menu we could read.

Speed needed for each biome
Biomes unlock in this order. The guardian and the threshold are from the Fandom Biomes page. We have not stood at each entrance to read the gate, so these are marked Unverified until someone does. Where other sources disagree, the differences are listed.

The Limited tab groups (Dr. Scramble, Extinction Egg, Luminous Egg, Monster Egg, Brainrot Egg) are egg types, not map areas, so they have no speed gate. The Rift is a timed event area and its speed requirement is unknown. Details are on the biomes page.
Treadmill upgrades
Speed comes mainly from running on the treadmill in your base. Each tier adds more speed per step. The table is from the Fandom Treadmill page. The only part we could confirm in the shop on 2026-10-09 is the first upgrade, sold as "UPGRADE TREADMILL!" for $15K or 19 Robux, which matches the Sci-Fi Treadmill price. Another site (axeetech) lists a completely different set of treadmills; we did not use it.
| Treadmill | Tier | Speed per step | Price | In-game check |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Treadmill | Common | +2 | Free | Starting treadmill |
| Sci-Fi Treadmill | Uncommon | +5 | $15K | Shop card "UPGRADE TREADMILL!" shows $15K or 19 Robux (2026-10-09) |
| Flame Treadmill | Rare | +12 | $250K | Not seen in-game |
| Celebrity Treadmill | Epic | +30 | $5M | Not seen in-game |
| Golden Treadmill | Legendary | +80 | $120M | Not seen in-game |
| The Freeze Treadmill | Mythic | +100 | $3B | Not seen in-game |
| Lucky Block Treadmill | Cosmic | +200 | $75B | Not seen in-game |
| Hacker Treadmill | Secret | +500 | $3T | Not seen in-game |
| Demonic Treadmill | Eternal | +1,000 | $50T | Not seen in-game |
| Angelic Treadmill | Divine | +2,000 | $1Qa | Not seen in-game |
| Astral Treadmill | Titan | +3,000 | $15Qa | Not seen in-game |
Steps per second is unknown. That is why the calculator asks for your own speed gain per second instead of using the per-step numbers. The speed cap is also unknown; one site claims a cap of about 150, which cannot be right next to thresholds in the billions, so we ignore it.
Other ways to get speed
Free speed
- Liking, favouriting and joining the community gives 10,000 speed (Fandom Speed page, not tested).
- Claiming a Pet Index cell gives cash and speed. The speed part varies by cell and biome. A fresh account that had claimed only Chicken (+420) showed a speed of 430, which suggests a base speed of 10, though that was not verified.
| Pet Index cell | Speed reward |
|---|---|
| Forest #1 (Chicken) | +420 |
| Forest #8 | +1K |
| Snow #8 | +32K |
| Cosmic #8 | +2.4M |
| Angels & Demons #15–16 (Divine) | +600M |
Dr. Scramble, Extinction Egg, Luminous Egg and Monster Egg claims give +0 speed. Rift claims give +30K to +65K and Brainrot Egg claims give +640 to +860K (in-game, 2026-10-09).

Speed multipliers
The shop showed one multiplier card, "DOUBLE Your SPEED (x1 ▶ x2)", for 3 Robux. The Fandom Boosts page lists higher tiers that were not on sale when we looked. The Fandom Gamepasses page gives different prices for x4, x8 and x16 (7, 20 and 29 Robux) and is badly formatted, so the Boosts page numbers are shown here as Unverified.

|---|---|---|

FAQ
Where is my speed shown?
Bottom left of the screen, next to a + button that opens the speed shop. There is no label, just the number.
How do I measure my gain per second?
Stand on the treadmill, note the speed number, run for 10 seconds, note it again, and divide the difference by 10. Enter that in the optional field. If you buy a better treadmill or a multiplier, measure again.
Does the x2 speed multiplier double the treadmill gain or the total?
The shop card only says "DOUBLE Your SPEED x1 ▶ x2". We have not bought it, so we cannot say which. Measure your gain per second after buying it and use that number.
Why is the Enchanted Forest threshold marked low quality?
The only source is the Fandom Enchanted Forest page, which has garbled text and odd categories. Its 50B figure also appears on wikirealm, but neither has been confirmed in-game.
What the data labels mean
- Verified in-game The pet's rarity and base income were matched against the in-game Pet Index on 2026-10-09. The Pet Index pays a claim reward equal to 100 × the pet's base income per second, so a reward of $100 confirms $1/s. Three pets (Scorpion, Rhinotaur, Glyptodon) show a one-decimal truncated reward in the game, which still agrees with the wiki value. Nineteen pets had their rarity corrected to what the game shows.
- Estimated No source lists the base income. We worked it out from the Pet Index reward (reward ÷ 100) by matching the pet's rarity to the only cell with that rarity. Currently only Celestial Sunlion carries this label.
- Unverified The numbers come from the Steal An Egg Wiki (Fandom) and have not been matched to the in-game Pet Index. This covers 22 pets that have no Pet Index cell (event dragons, Secret Shrine fusions, experiment pets) and the Enchanted Forest pets whose names are still locked.
Labels follow a strict priority: Estimated first, then Unverified, then Verified in-game. Anything still marked "to be confirmed" in our notes can never be shown as verified.
